Schedule: 4 days per week

Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Compensation: $22 – $26 per hour (commensurate with experience and shift)

Position Overview

We are seeking multiple Full Time and Part Time experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our after hours urgent care team. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, confident in emergency and critical care procedures, and committed to clear and compassionate communication—with both clients and colleagues. Accurate, thorough medical documentation and client updates are essential, as most of our patients will transition back to their primary care veterinarians.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care for urgent and emergency patients, including triage, monitoring, and treatment.

Assist veterinarians with diagnostics, procedures, and treatments (radiographs, laboratory testing, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, etc.).

Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients regarding patient status, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

Maintain meticulous and timely medical records for every patient to ensure smooth case transfer to referring veterinarians.

Support a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care during busy and high-stress periods.

Qualifications

Licensed or certified Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, or RVT) preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Minimum of 2 years of veterinary clinical experience; emergency or urgent care experience a plus.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient with electronic medical records and detailed documentation.
