Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician Locums Job in California 12pm-8pm Shifts September 13 - October 31 Assignment #
Coverage DetailsInpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
Single-site coverage Shift Details
Schedule ideally 12 PM - 8 PM, Tuesday - Saturday
Client may consider alternative 5-day schedules if Saturday coverage is included
Saturday coverage is required
No outpatient clinic duties
No call required Requirements
Board Certified
Active California license
Clean malpractice history required for emergency privileges
Local candidates preferred but not required Required Procedures / Skills
Experience with spinal cord injury rehabilitation highly preferred
Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
Comprehensive rehabilitation care for neurologic, orthopedic, and complex medical patients
Participate in team rounds, patient evaluations, functional goal setting, and discharge planning
Pain and spasticity management Assignment Details
Multidisciplinary collaboration with Hospitalists, PT, OT, SLP, Nursing, Case Management, and Social Work
Full therapy team support including PT, OT, SLP, rehab nursing, case management, and social work
Average census: 25-28 patients
Emergency privileges may be available
Current PM&R Staff: 2 attending physiatrists
