Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Conroe, TX. The Senior Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closings. This role will prepare and analyze financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and monitor project costs and job profitability. The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable regulations, assist with audits, and maintain accurate documentation. The role will also collaborate with operations and project management teams to provide timely financial insights, support process improvements, and recommend controls that strengthen financial integrity. Qualifications Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and project or job cost accounting, preferably in construction or real estate development. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and analysis. Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit processes, with the ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across finance, operations, and project teams. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is preferred. Several years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a senior or lead accounting role. Ability to work on-site in Conroe, TX, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
