Electrician Supervisor

Looking for a reliable Electrician Supervisor to lead field crews on local projects in Monroe, NC. Must have proven experience running crews and reading blueprints. Requirements Must Have: 5+ years of electrical experience + 1–2+ years as a Lead Active Journeyman or Master License preferred. In-depth knowledge of NEC codes and OSHA safety standards. Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation. Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year Shift: First Work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM Education: High School Responsibilities An Electrician Supervisor supervises on-site electrical installations, leads a team of electricians, and ensures all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. They bridge the gap between field operations and project management, keeping jobs on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities Field Leadership: Direct, assign, and inspect the daily work of journeymen and apprentice electricians. Project Planning: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to schedule labor, track materials, and anticipate job site needs. Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations, local codes, and site-specific safety protocols; conduct daily safety briefings (toolbox talks). Quality Control: Inspect work in progress and completed installations (conduit layout, wiring, panel terminations) for compliance and quality. Communication: Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to resolve job site conflicts and report daily progress. Qualifications & Requirements Active Journeyman or Master Electrician License (required). 5+ years of commercial, industrial, or residential electrical experience. 1–2+ years of supervisory or crew-lead experience. National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
