About the Clinician's Workday The radiation oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient oncology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with nightly and weekend call coverage. Daily responsibilities include managing 5-10 patients on treatment (3-5 treatment plans and 3-5 sims), with Tuesday designated as treatment day at a volume of 20-25 patients. The clinician will deliver IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT treatments utilizing Varian equipment and will document all patient care through the EPIC EMR and Aria treatment planning system. Hospital privileges are required and can be obtained on a temporary basis within a few days; full enrollment is anticipated for assignments exceeding 60 days.
