Title
Operating Room Registered Nurse

Schedule
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
- Weekends: Required

Assignment Details
- Minimum Assignment Length: 10 weeks

Requirements
- License: Must hold a valid NM license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Years of Experience: 2 years
- EMR: Cerner (preferred)
- Unit-specific skills: Broad OR competency across general, laparoscopic/endoscopic, gynecologic, ortho/total joints, plastics, and bariatric procedures

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, quality nursing care in the operating room environment.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgery.
- Monitor patient's vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient education.
- Ensure compliance with universal protocol and safe handling of specimens.

Compliance / Notes
- Drug screen required within 30 days of start.
- Max 7 days of requested time off preferred; more than 7 days needs approval.
- Parking: Free.
