This role provides care to hospitalized children and newborns in a collaborative, well‑supported environment. Position Highlights Provide care in a 17‑bed pediatric unit and newborn nursery with approximately 2,400 annual admissions Pediatric Floor Average Daily Census: 5 Newborn Nursery Average Daily Census: 15 Collaborate closely with pediatric hospitalists in a team‑based care model Work an 8‑hour daytime shift, including weekends; no call required Participate in rounding, patient management, admissions, and discharge planning Access subspecialty support through leading institutions University of Virginia (UVA)
