Night Shift Material Handler - Forklift & Inventory

US Lumber, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Material Handler-Loader-3rd Shift join our team. In this role you will focus on: Responsibilities: Safely operate forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material. Band, wrap, and tape product as needed. Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors. Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload. Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner. Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues. Follow U.S. Lumber safety policies and procedures and encourage others to do the same. This includes performing daily forklift safety checklists. Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products Must learn how to use a chainsaw and Holtec Industrial Saw Must be able to read a tape measure. Accurately pull daily orders. Other duties as assigned by supervisors or management. Qualifications: Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience. Prior lumber experience desired. Engineered Lumber experience is preferred. Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
