Accounting Specialist

Accounting PositionJob Specific Competencies:Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records on a regular basis.Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Maintain accurate records of financial data and ensure all documentation is properly filed and accessible.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely collection.Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries from auditors.Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.JCMG Core Competencies:Strives for continuous quality improvement.Participates in educational experiences designed to maintain and/or improve professional competence.Maintains high work ethic standards.Provides quality customer service to staff, patients, and visitors at all times.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma. Requires working occasional evening and weekend hours.
