Personal Banker I – Los Angeles, CA Provide an exceptional customer experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing long‑lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers. Responsibilities Create memorable customer experiences through proactive outreach in person, phone, or other appropriate channels. Use a consultative approach to uncover and identify customer needs, tailoring recommendations and solutions. Maintain working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure customers’ needs are met and issues resolved. Analyze customer credit data and financial information to ensure appropriate solutions. Provide support for current and new technology, reinforcing value to customers. Process teller transactions and follow balancing guidelines. Follow Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other policies, modeling ethical behavior. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED and at least 6 months of customer service experience, or a college degree, or equivalent military experience. Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with new household acquisitions and deepening customer relationships. Professional verbal and written communication skills representing Fifth Third Bank. Business acumen and sound decision‑making ability. Registration with SAFE Act through Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at hire. Working Conditions Normal office environment with extended computer screen viewing. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $43,680.00 – $69,900.00 annually. Eligible for incentive compensation.
