Academic Nephrologist - Northwell Health, Great Neck, NY

*Northwell Health's Division of Nephrology* is seeking a BC/BE nephrologist to join its academic faculty at its main campus at *North Shore University Hospital* and *Long Island Jewish Medical Center* *in Great Neck, NY*. This clinician educator position combines clinical care with teaching responsibilities and optional research opportunities. We are seeking physicians who will thrive in a dynamic and nurturing environment in a program long known for innovation and patient-centered care. The division currently has a faculty of 20 nephrologists and a long-standing fellowship program. Northwell Nephrology is well known for its expertise in clinical research in medical education, POCUS, kidney transplantation, dialysis, anemia and hyperkalemia, outcomes research, COVID-related AKI, onconephrology and glomerular diseases. In addition to its successful general nephrology fellowship, the program also has specialized fellowships in transplantation and glomerular diseases / onconephrology. *North Shore University Hospital*, located in Manhasset, New York, is an 812-bed teaching hospital that is academically affiliated with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
