Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is essential for providing high-quality patient care in an intensive care unit setting, with responsibilities that include both ICU and stepdown care. The role requires flexibility in floating to various departments and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This position is for day shifts, with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekend shifts are required, and the nurse may need to float between units as necessary.

Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience is required. Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are mandatory. Ability to float to stepdown and medical-surgical units. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

48-hour weekly guarantees may be requested. Blocked scheduling can be accommodated. At least one winter holiday will be required. The unit consists of 16 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:2 and 1:3-4 for stepdown patients. On-call duty may be required but is rarely needed.
