Job Summary

Join our dedicated team as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse at MVHS-Wynn in Utica, New York. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive care within a dynamic obstetric unit.

The unit features 18 beds, including Triage, Antepartum, L&D, Recovery, and dedicated Operating Rooms for C-sections. You will care for a diverse patient population encompassing ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum obstetric patients, as well as GYN patients and newborns.

This position requires adaptability, including the ability to float as needed within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum obstetric patients.
• Care for GYN patients and newborns.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment relevant to labor and delivery.
• Float to other units as required by facility needs.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Proficiency with EPIC/Stork EMR system.
• Local candidates (residing within 75 miles) are encouraged to apply.
