• Take the lead: prioritize, coordinate, and delegate care activities for your patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure proper patient care.
• Maintain a safe environment for everyone.
• Monitor and communicate with patients, families, and care team members about significant events or concerns.
• Prevent and treat wounds.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and environment of care standards.
• Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, clear communication, and an exceptional patient experience.
• Consult with supervisors when unable to complete tasks safely or effectively.
• Educate patients and families using appropriate resources and care services.
• Support team members proactively.

The Must-Haves

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana, as per the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current PALs certification.
