Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist eager to join a flourishing imaging team committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You'll engage with advanced ultrasound technology to conduct thorough diagnostic procedures, working closely with a nurturing team of healthcare providers to ensure patients receive timely and reassuring imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound studies, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during each examination, explaining the procedure with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referral physicians to provide excellent diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain thorough patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and technologies

Education Requirements

• A degree (Associate or Bachelor's) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification
• A BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient knowledge of sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
