Certified Medical Assistant

to join our team in

Champaign, IL

. The Certified Medical Assistant will support physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and strong communication skills when interacting with patients, coworkers, and healthcare providers. Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures. Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and other clinical information. Prepare examination rooms, medical supplies, and equipment for patient care. Perform routine laboratory tests and clinical procedures within the scope of practice. Administer medications as directed by authorized healthcare providers. Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient medical records. Provide patients with education, instructions, and support regarding their care. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Follow all applicable healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and patient confidentiality requirements. Collaborate with healthcare team members to support efficient and patient-centered care. Qualifications

Current Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program. CPR certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer systems. Knowledge of healthcare laws, ethics, patient confidentiality, and professional standards. Previous experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are preferred but not required.
