Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience evaluating and treating general outpatient orthopedic and geriatric populations in a hospital-based outpatient setting preferred.
Ability to perform comprehensive PT evaluations including strength, range of motion, coordination, ambulation, transfers, and bed mobility assessments.
Demonstrated competency in developing individualized plans of care and documenting in accordance with APTA standards of care.
Experience supervising PT assistants and coordinating treatment team activities preferred.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Hospital outpatient department.
Shift Name: Days.
Shift Details: Monday–Friday, 0800–1630. Alternate schedule option: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 0700–1730.
Patient Population: Orthopedics and general outpatient, including geriatric patients.
Responsibilities include evaluations, evidenced-based treatments, documentation, participation in meetings and education, and maintaining a safe work area.
