Senior Proposal Specialist, Tacoma

Korsmo Construction has an exciting open position for a senior proposal specialist in our Business Development and Marketing department. The senior proposal specialist works with the business development, marketing, and project teams to develop winning pursuit strategies and deliverables, including design-build team facilitation, statements of qualifications, management plans, technical content, infographics, presentation materials, and more. This role also supports the marketing team with internal and external communications, award submittals, event materials, digital content, and brand management. The ideal candidate will have capture-planning experience, exceptional writing skills, construction industry knowledge, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills to lead complex pursuits, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, develop compelling content, and perform other marketing related tasks as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage pursuit process from kickoff through final selection Prepare effective statements of qualifications and proposal documents Coach pursuit teams through interview processTechnical writing and editing Presentation materials Maintain brand management and quality standards Infographics and creative layouts Develop and maintain marketing assets Multi-tasking across concurrent pursuits Support marketing team with events and creative projects Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or related focus 4+ years of experience in A/E/C marketing and communications Demonstrated experience in managing pursuits and proposal development Meticulous attention to detail and compliance with deliverable requirements Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and MS Office applications Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Photography and video editing capabilities a plus Founded in 1948, Korsmo Construction is a premier general contracting company delivering quality projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.
