We are seeking a skilled Production Planning Engineer to join our team and ensure precise and efficient production planning across our facilities. Responsibilities: Develop and implement detailed production plans to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Utilize engineering expertise to understand and optimize various manufacturing processes and machine capabilities. Analyze and forecast production requirements to meet customer commitments and manage production schedules accordingly. Utilize specialized software to optimize and track the production process, ensuring efficient workflow and resource utilization. Identify and leverage opportunities to improve production processes and product offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to address any issues or changes in demand. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the glass or a related industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential production issues. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery capabilities. Proficiency in production planning software and tools for tracking and optimizing production flow. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various teams and departments. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in planning and execution.
