Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: August 17, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 14-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block
• Adhere to unit floating policy, with travel staff serving as first to float as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic health record system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and stroke/thrombectomy care protocols
