General Production WorkerThis role focuses on the finishing and quality inspection of printed labels in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. You will work in your own designated area, either sitting or standing, inspecting labels for color accuracy, alignment, and measurement precision, and preparing them for shipment through weighing, packaging, and labeling. As you gain experience, you may be trained to operate small production machines such as die-cut equipment, laminators, and digital plotter die cutters, offering strong long-term growth opportunities in a quiet and organized facility that produces high-quality sticker products.ResponsibilitiesInspect printed labels for color accuracy, ensuring there are no color errors or inconsistencies.Check labels for proper paper alignment and verify measurements using rulers or tape measures to meet quality standards.Perform detailed visual inspections of small parts and labels, identifying defects and ensuring overall product quality.Weigh bundles of labels accurately and package them into Ziploc bags and other final packaging materials to prepare products for shipment.Label, pack, and assemble finished products according to established production and packaging procedures.Work in a designated production area, choosing to sit or stand while maintaining focus on repetitive and meticulous tasks.Lift up to 50 pounds as needed to move materials, products, and equipment within the production area.Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility.Work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly with coworkers and supporting production goals.Follow all company procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines while performing production, inspection, and packaging tasks.Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to long-term employment and growth within the company.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ingleside, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
