We are actively seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Freeport, Maine on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a dedicated rehabilitation team while helping patients improve their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional mobility
• Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to support patient goals
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Active COTA License
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• SNF experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and patient care skills
