We have a new opportunity for a Full-Time Director of Social Services! This position offers competitive compensation between $75-$85k plus medical, dental, vision benefits and so much more!

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training/Certifications: BS/BA Degree required; MA Degree in Social Work required; LSW in NJ preferred.

Skill(s): Geriatric specific competencies including the ability to:

• assess a resident’s psychosocial needs
• create and be an active participant in their plan of care
• be an active listener
• utilize strong visual skills
• demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• multi-task with productive time management.

Experience: At least two years experience as a Social Worker in a Long Term Care facility preferred.

General Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to identify and provide age-specific care as needed.
• Act as a liaison between residents, family members, responsible parties and staff.
• Serve as resident/client advocate while representing the facility’s interests.
