Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

$1933.92/week - Job Summary: Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients, ensuring clinical excellence and patient safety. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate treatment and promote healing. Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff to ensure adherence to care plans and safety protocols. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and families to develop and update care plans. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions. Participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless continuity of care. Utilize EMR/Epic systems for documentation and clinical data management. Qualifications: Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred. Demonstrate at least two years recent experience in a medical-surgical setting. Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor. Have experience with electronic medical records, particularly Epic.
