Machine Learning Intern

Qorvo's Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full time opportunities, as available.

Qorvo's Machine Learning Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Studying and identifying the best machine learning method for each individual application
• Developing machine learning methodology and documentation for other groups
  • Design of experiment and training data collection
  • Test equipment design and build-up
  • Algo tool development, verification and release

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Machine Learning Development coursework and/or experience
• Proficiency in math and machine learning models such as SVM, decision tree, neural network, etc.
• Proficiency in bring up POC demo experience is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Self-Starter with good communication skills

This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship by the company.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $35.10/hr - $45.63/hr, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location).

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
