Job Description:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, environmental, and developmental health status. Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely, monitor patient responses, and document all related activities accurately. Document patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in medical records to ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and preventive care. Collaborate with healthcare providers, specialists, and support staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care delivery. Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations to stabilize and provide necessary care to patients. Monitor patient status continuously, noting any significant changes or concerns, and report findings to the healthcare team. Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary data and materials are prepared. Promote a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential safety hazards for patients, visitors, and staff. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, monitor patient outcomes, and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices. Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel based on their competence and scope of practice, ensuring safe and efficient care delivery.

Qualification Requirements:

High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School (Required)Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic EKG Certification (BEKG) EV Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support CPR Cert (BLS) RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, IV Certified (IV) EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) EV Accredited Issuing Body, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) EV Accredited Issuing Body, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) EV Accredited Issuing Body, NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program EV Accredited Issuing Body, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, S.T.A.B.L.E. Pay Range: $20.95 $38.96
