Summit Point Raceway Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and support the continued growth of our unique organization. Located on our 786-acre campus in Summit Point, West Virginia, we serve a diverse portfolio of commercial motorsports clients and government training programs. This role offers the opportunity to oversee accounting operations for an organization with a dynamic mix of commercial business and federal government contracting. Working closely with the Vice President of Finance, the Controller will lead the accounting team, oversee financial reporting and month-end close, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with GAAP and government contracting requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, and cash management. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and prepare accurate financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS (when applicable), SCA, and government contracting requirements. Support DCAA audits, government reporting, and external financial audits. Partner with the Vice President of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial processes. Supervise and develop accounting staff while promoting continuous improvement. Qualifications: Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting Seven or more years of progressive accounting experience Three or more years managing or supervising an accounting team Strong knowledge of GAAP Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with financial reporting and internal controls Preferred Government contracting experience Experience with FAR, CAS, DCAA, and SCA compliance Experience with Unanet ERP or similar accounting software #J-18808-Ljbffr Summit Point Training Facility
