As a licensed therapist at Gotham Enterprises, you will primarily work in a remote setting but occasionally visit our outpatient office for collaborative meetings and team support. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health status, and specific treatment needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that address both addiction issues and underlying mental health concerns.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using proven methodologies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team that includes physicians, nurses, and case managers to ensure clients receive holistic and integrated care.
• Provide education and resources to clients' families, fostering a supportive environment that enhances the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering strictly to regulatory and ethical standards, while using our electronic health record (EHR) system for efficient record-keeping.

In this role, you will work primarily with adults dealing with substance use disorders as well as co-occurring mental health issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present unique challenges in their recovery. Your expertise will play a vital role in guiding them through evidence-based treatment pathways, helping them regain control of their lives.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor's degree is required, with significant clinical training or specialized education in counseling, social work, psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in addiction counseling and familiarity with evidence-based practices addressing substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills along with the ability to build rapport and motivate clients toward recovery.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, essential for collaborating effectively with other professionals within our care model.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, specifically focused on substance abuse treatment.
• Background in working with diverse populations and a commitment to cultural competency in therapeutic practices.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms or virtual counseling methods is a plus, as we seek to enhance our delivery of care in a remote setting.
