The organization is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming space where clinicians can provide high-quality care and children can reach their full potential.\nRole Description The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will provide direct occupational therapy services to children in a variety of settings, including the clinic in Massapequa, NY and home or community environments, using a hybrid schedule that allows some work from home. This full-time role involves evaluating children’s functional abilities, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and using sensory integration and play-based interventions to address fine motor, gross motor, self-care, and regulation needs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting standardized and informal assessments, documenting progress notes and reports, communicating regularly with caregivers and other professionals, and participating in early intervention and school-related services as needed. The therapist will collaborate with the team to refine treatment approaches, contribute to program development, and engage in ongoing professional learning. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, managing scheduling, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.\nQualifications\n\n\n Demonstrated expertise in pediatric Occupational Therapy, including assessment and treatment planning for children.\n Skills in Sensory Integration and play-based intervention to support regulation, attention, and functional participation.\n Experience in Pediatrics and Early Intervention services, including working with families and interdisciplinary teams.\n Comfort and enthusiasm for Working With Children across a range of ages, abilities, and developmental needs.\n Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in New York; NBCOT certification preferred.\n Strong written and verbal communication skills for caregiver education, documentation, and collaboration with community partners.\n Ability to manage a full-time caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards.\n Interest in ongoing professional development; experience with school-based services or neurodiversity-affirming practice is a plus.\n
