GENERAL DUTIES

Responsible for all guest registration, reservations, front desk and store sales. Occasional cleaning of restrooms, laundry, cabins, office store and surrounding areas.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Provide outstanding customer service over the phone and in person, by being attentive, responsive and helpful to their needs. Report any problems, requests or complaints to the appropriate management. Follow cash and credit card handling procedures. Follow proper procedures for the handling of registrations, reservations and store operations. Promote KOA system to customers and be knowledgeable of all national and local advertising and discount programs for the campground. Give clear directions to campers to and from the campground. Implement daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules instituted by the Campground Owner/Manager for all front office, store, restrooms, laundry facility and stocking store. Keep the surrounding area of the main building, mini‑golf, playground and pool area clean and free of litter. Water plants and lawns as asked. Follow safety procedures and enforce campground rules. Perform all other duties assigned by the Campground Owner/Manager.

Friendly and professional camper service. Positive attitude with guests, management and team members. Ability to deal with customer related and non‑customer related problems. Team player. Attention to detail when taking reservations, registering guests and cleaning. Accurate money handling.

PHYSICAL REQ.UIREMENTS

Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Long periods of standing, kneeling, bending and walking. Must be able to hear and respond over the telephone.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent guest service. Some knowledge of office equipment (computers) and operations. Knowledge of K2 helpful but not required. Some knowledge of the Douglas area.
