All you need to do is come in with your CDL/Passenger Endorsement Permit (cost will be reimbursed after entering service). MV Transportation is now hiring full-time drivers with full benefits. Who We Are Here at MV, we provide the Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority (MMVTA) fixed route bus service locally in the Middle Monongahela River Valley and commuter service to Downtown Pittsburgh, 7 days a week. As a driver, you'll operate a variety of buses out of the Donora Bus Operations Facility, responsible for safely operating transit vehicles and providing reliable public transportation. You will be cross-trained on all routes. What’s In it for You Start rate: $24.92 Yearly increases each July, with additional increases after one year of service Full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance for qualified candidates) Two consecutive days off each week PTO days after the introductory period 7 paid holidays Vacation time after one year, with additional vacation days upon two years All routes return to base before 11 PM nightly Qualifications Driver Minimum Requirements: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical Must have at least a Class B CDL with Airbrake and Passenger Endorsements We will provide training and testing for a Passenger Endorsement; come in with your CDL/Passenger Endorsement Permit (cost reimbursed after employment begins) Must be able to operate all vehicles in the fleet Availability to work nights and weekends (work is bid on by seniority) Ability to learn and serve all MMVTA routes Excellent communication and decision-making skills During employment, employees may access confidential information.
