Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide individual, couple, family, and group counseling sessions via video conferencing platforms. \n
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches. \n
- Offer ongoing support and guidance to clients as they work through emotional, behavioral, or mental health difficulties, employing various therapeutic techniques to empower them on their journey to recovery. \n
- Document all clinical interactions accurately and detail-oriented, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure holistic care for clients, including referrals to psychiatric services when appropriate. \n
- Engage in regular supervision and participate in clinical reviews to enhance personal practice skills and stay updated on best practices in the counseling field. \n
- Proactively participate in staff meetings and training sessions to contribute to the growth and improvement of the organization’s services. \n
The counselor role focuses on providing care to a wide range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, addiction, depression, relationship challenges, trauma recovery, and other mental health concerns. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. \n
- An active, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor in New Jersey. \n
