The Hospice Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is a paraprofessional member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Hospice Team and performs various personal care services to meet the clients’ needs. The home health aide is responsible for observing clients, providing personal care, and documenting the observations and care. CHHA’s are also responsible for handling and serving clients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. The home health aide will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a client’s care.
