Radiology Technologist Mammography - Part Time

Role Overview: Provides and evaluates mammographic and general radiological procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Operates all mammography units independently and performs screening, diagnostic, and special imaging exams. Produces quality images through proper positioning, compression, and selecting appropriate factors. Prepares exam rooms and assists radiologists during procedures. Prepares patients by explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Ensures equipment functionality, reports malfunctions, and maintains quality control standards. Documents results, develops films consistently, and maintains darkroom integrity. Participates in training of students and new staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Maintains cleanliness and proper documentation of manuals, supporting annual inspections. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required); Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
