Role Overview The Senior Revenue Accounting Analyst – Trade Promotion is part of a 4‑person team that reports to an SBU Manager. The analyst manages the order‑to‑cash (O2C) process for a portfolio of customers, including collections, trade promotion and supply‑chain deductions, coordination of BPO activities, and net revenue analysis. Work Environment Hybrid workplace – employees are required in office Tuesday through Thursday at the Emeryville, CA headquarters. The environment emphasizes in‑person collaboration, innovation, and culture building. Key Responsibilities Maintain accounts receivable collections and ensure open invoice balances remain at $0 beyond 60 days. Prevent and resolve payment delays by collaborating with IT, Customer Success, and Sales on issues such as EDI billing, deduction timing, and product deliveries. Escalate roadblocks to Sales and management to drive resolution and payment. Review open customer orders to approve daily shipments based on credit standing. Research and resolve customer deductions for trade promotions and supply‑chain claims. Maintain open deduction balances below $50K over 90 days and code deductions correctly for the P&L. Analyze and explain customer P&L charges, providing insights to Sales Planning and Finance. Coordinate BPO work with the broker’s team in the Philippines, track KPIs, and audit accuracy. Serve as the primary resource for trade‑spend expertise, leading monthly presentations to Sales executives and weekly resolution meetings. Participate in the Accounting close cycle, analyze A/R aging, and review trade promotion accruals. Lead and champion Revenue Accounting team projects. Qualifications BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience. 3+ years of experience in CPG trade promotions, preferably in food & beverage. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis. Experience with major ERPs and trade promotion management systems is a plus. Advanced Excel skills.
