The Cook will prepare food and assist with serving as needed. They will do meal prep, cleaning, and maintenance of food service areas. This position is full time, it is every other weekend and 3-4 days per week.

Cook Position Summary:

• Prepares and serves meals according to the dietary guidelines established by the facility’s Health Department.

• Monitors cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas.

• Ensures that all food is stored in accordance with the facility’s regulations.

• Ensures that all dining areas are properly set up and serves as a backup in case of food service emergencies.

• Ensures that all kitchen equipment is in proper working order and assists in maintaining the kitchen area.

• Performs other tasks as needed or assigned by the Dietary Manager.
