Position Radiologic Technologist – full‑time Job Responsibilities Start up and shut down all X‑ray equipment Identify patient and confirm the ordered examination Prepare patients for radiological procedures and conduct X‑ray examinations following established patient care and safety protocols Obtain detailed patient history and note any observations during the examination Use appropriate radiation protection and shielding materials Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions to the Lead Radiologic Technologist Document procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR) and handle billing documentation Obtain pre‑authorization for CT scans from insurance companies Confirm X‑ray exam in PACS and ensure the report is available in the chart Clarify discrepancies in radiology readings with the medical provider Clean and restock the site, and collaborate with team members Participate in the quality control and assurance program Support patient flow by performing basic medical assisting and occupational medicine tasks, such as greeting, registering, and triaging calls Minimum Experience Mastery of best‑practice X‑ray procedures and protocols Understanding of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and patient movement Knowledge of radiology equipment and common safety hazards Ability to identify equipment issues, troubleshoot problems, and apply written instructions and standardized work practices Excellent customer‑service and interpersonal skills Critical‑thinking ability Basic computer skills, including use of EMR Minimum Education & Licensing High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (or current student expected to graduate within 4–6 months, subject to successful graduation and licensure) Active ARRT certification and registration State licensure as required Valid driver’s license Benefits No on‑call responsibilities or overnight shifts Generous paid time off and parental leave Medical, vision, FSA/HSA, and prescription drug coverage 401(k) plan with company match Continuing education, training, and growth opportunities Annual CME reimbursement Opportunities for promotional growth Annual license renewal reimbursement Free urgent care visits for employees and eligible dependents Scrubs provided Sign‑on bonus up to $10,000 (full‑time only) Employment Information Salary commences at $31.00 per hour and increases with experience.
