Job Title: Service Engineer – College Station, TX

Location: College Station, TX (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Occasional on-call and after-hours support required)
Pay: $41.61/hour

About the Role

We're looking for a Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise servers and data center equipment. You'll troubleshoot hardware issues, perform repairs, and help keep critical systems running with minimal downtime. While this role supports AI data center environments, AI experience is not required —strong server and data center experience is what matters.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain Dell servers and data center hardware
• Replace server components such as CPUs, memory, power supplies, GPUs, and other hardware
• Perform server builds, hardware swaps, upgrades, and firmware updates
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and operating system issues
• Complete preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
• Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues
• Document service activities and maintain accurate service records
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting servers, data centers, or enterprise hardware
• Hands-on experience replacing server components and troubleshooting hardware issues
• Basic experience with Linux or similar operating systems
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Able to work independently in a customer-facing environment
• Willing to learn new technologies, including AI platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Dell or other server hardware certifications are a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule and participating in an on-call rotation
