Start Date: 09/20/2026

Shift: 3 12-hour shifts per week, including night shifts (7 AM - 7 PM & 7 PM - 7 AM)

Hours/Week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Contract/Locum

License/Certs: Active Nurse Practitioner license, DEA preferred

Experience: Relevant neurointerventional or surgery experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $14.74

What You'll Do

• Respond to code stroke activations, providing critical inpatient care for neurointerventional patients
• Assist with post-procedure patient management on inpatient units
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR system
• Support neurovascular surgery team during clinical procedures and patient recovery
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards

What You Need

Required:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia or willingness to obtain
• Prior experience in neurointerventional or acute inpatient care
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible scheduling

Preferred:

• Certifications in ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills

About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading hospital in Richmond, VA, providing inpatient neurointerventional surgery services. The role focuses on supporting stroke response and patient care post-procedure, within a dynamic hospital environment committed to patient-centered care. Credentialing is estimated to take up to 120 days, and travel reimbursements will be provided as applicable.
