Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain our properties, ensuring functionality, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service and deliver high‑quality maintenance in response to resident requests and preventive schedules. Conduct work order management, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, pools, etc. Complete make‑ready processes for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, and final inspections. Assist with grounds maintenance, cleaning, painting, and basic infrastructure upkeep. Manage inventory, requisition supplies, and support cost‑control efforts through effective use of tools and parts. Follow safety protocols, report incidents, attend safety meetings, and comply with OSHA and other regulations. Adhere to company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and all applicable housing laws. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience. Hands‑on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and pool maintenance. EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred; CPO a plus. Strong communication and customer‑service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and willingness to be on‑call for emergencies. Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email). Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
