We are looking for a qualified individual to demonstrate their ability to learn and grow with our Glencoe processing facility.Cost Accountant Responsibilities:Job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:Accounts Payable & ReceivingOperational Tracking & ReportingPreparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliationsDevelopment and maintenance of standard costsAssist in the quarterly forecasting and bi-annual budgeting processesAG & Grower AccountingAssist Plant Controller on:Costing and Analysis ProjectsRaw Product Scale SupportPayrollOn-Boarding of Seasonal StaffQualifications:Prior work experience is not required but preferred in Accounting or Inventory. Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field desired:Demonstrated general knowledge of financial accounting procedures is required.Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word skillsMust possess exceptional thoughtful and analytical skills, diligent with high attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, well organized.Agile and open to change.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to work independently, effectively handle multiple competing priorities and manage deadlines under pressure.
