Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Location: 7650 S 59th Ave Ste. 105, Phoenix, AZ 85339 - Cross Streets: 59th Ave and Baseline Road Status: Full Time
Schedule: Three 12 hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM 8:00 PM, seven days a week with every other weekend and occasional holidays required.
Compensation: $60-$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus Benefits: Full-benefits package available Position Summary We are seeking a Full Time clinician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ . This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast paced, well supported urgent care environment. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP PA
• DOT Certification required
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable
  • PA: NCCPA certification
  • NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast track experience
• Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial x ray interpretation prior to radiology over read
