About the Role:
Join OUR COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Washington, DC, where you'll play a vital role in helping individuals achieve mental wellness. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and effective support to our community, making a positive impact every day.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to promote mental health and well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate client progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and support.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices.
- Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote mental health awareness.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current and valid DC license as a Mental Health Therapist.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and mental health disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to client-centered care.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
