Clinical Nurse Supervisor (RN)-ICU/PCU Float-Part Time Nights-Temecula Valley Hospital

Nursing Supervisor - Float Pool - ICU/PCU The Nursing Supervisor will supervise critical care units to include ICU and/or PCU units as assigned. The Supervisor will assist with the planning and yearly needs assessment for the unit's budget, monitor patient care activities within budget, daily census and staff usage, and identify cost reduction opportunities. The Supervisor will oversee daily charging process and ensure staff education and participation in appropriate assignment of patient charges. Essential Job Duties The Nursing Supervisor effectively delegates shift tasks and assignments to appropriate health care team members, maintains a positive relationship with the Medical Staff, and identifies opportunities to improve service relations. The candidate assists Director/Manager as needed with department operational responsibilities including accurate and timely input of employee hours and QA data collection.
