Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals. Lead clinic staff—X‑ray technologists, nurses, front‑office specialists—in delivering excellent patient care. Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic reviews to develop appropriate diagnoses. Formulate and implement treatment plans, including diagnostics, medication prescriptions, and education for acute and chronic conditions. Ensure accurate, timely completion of patient charts and forwarding to appropriate parties. Follow clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and Supervising Physicians. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, HIPAA, and internal policies. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising Physicians and E/M training. Support new employee onboarding, training, and job shadowing. Communicate regularly within the team to support patient care. Promote a respectful culture of confidentiality among employees and clients. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Work telehealth queue efficiently to ensure follow‑up. Make recommendations to improve patient experience and care. Work Schedule PRN employees are required to work a minimum of four shifts per month. Full‑time employees work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Ancillary providers are on call periodically throughout the year. Experience Requirements and Preferences At least 1–2 years as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, or family medical practice. Preferred: experience working as a telehealth clinician. Levels: Level 1: New graduate with up to 1 year of experience. Level 2: 1–5 years of experience. Level 3: 5–10 years of experience. Level 4: Over 10 years of experience. Education Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS). Licensure and Certifications Active license and DEA in good standing. DEA required for all providers; if limited by state law, must obtain within 120 days of meeting minimum practice years. DOT certification required for full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days of employment and must be maintained. Capability to treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements.
