About the Position

Job Title

Surgical Technician – Operating Room

Location

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team in the operating room throughout orthopedic and neurological procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, including instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Pass instruments and anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and organization of surgical instruments before and after cases
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and facility protocols within the OR environment

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist certification (CST) or equivalent credentialing required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of surgical technologist experience
• Strong orthopedic surgical experience required
• Strong neurological surgical experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or acute care operating room environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties in addition to ortho and neuro
