Field Service Technician

DEX Imaging is a leading provider of document handling equipment and services with multiple offices across the United States. We are looking for a Copier Service Technician in the Longview, TX market who can troubleshoot machines and provide excellent customer service. What’s the opportunity The role requires mechanical inclination, reliability, trustworthiness, independent work, and strong communication skills. The Technician will perform diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned copier equipment, delivering top‑notch customer care. Responsibilities Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches. Manage all on‑site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. Produce timely and detailed service reports. Follow all company procedures and protocols. Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization. Comprehend customer requirements and provide appropriate recommendations/briefings. Participate in educational opportunities and reading professional publications to update job knowledge. Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Ability to manage service calls that may take longer than anticipated without frustration. Superb customer service skills and ability to diagnose and solve problems from non‑technical descriptions provided by customers.
