Job TitleAccurately assess and perform basic nursing procedures required for all patients, include Emergency Room. Report changes in patient status to physician and other appropriate personnel.Teach patients/families health promotion and maintenance, including pre- and post-operative care.Initiate emergency care per department policy.Assist physician with examinations, procedures, rounds and other processes related to direct patient care.Prepare and document administration of medications - rectal, topical, oral and parenteral - according to department policy.Cooperates with other personnel and physician to achieve department objectives and maintain the standard of care of each department.RequirementsLicensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of KansasCompetitive wages and weekend differentialsScrub allowanceSelf-scheduling
