Customer Service Representative / Telecommunications Attendant

We are seeking a customer-focused Telecommunications Attendant to serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently routing calls and supporting hospital and university operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous call center or high-volume customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and professional telephone etiquette.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with strong computer skills.
• Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and manage high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and accuracy.
• Transfer calls, provide directory assistance, and connect callers to the appropriate departments or personnel.
• Support emergency call routing, paging, and dispatch procedures as required.
• Maintain call records, update directories, and perform basic administrative tasks.
• Deliver first-call resolution while adhering to service quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a healthcare, hospital, university, or emergency dispatch environment.
• Familiarity with paging systems, call center applications, or medical terminology.
