Our three primary care pediatrics locations in Staten Island are looking for a Medical Assistant who's ready to bring compassion, organization, and energy to our fast-paced practice. If you thrive in a hands-on role where you can make a real difference for kids and families, this is the place for you!

Monday-Friday, Rotating Saturdays

What You'll Be Doing:

Administrative Support Duties

• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow throughout the day.
• Check patients in and out, process copays, and handle balance dues with accuracy and care.
• Keep things organized behind the scenes to help the whole office run smoothly.

Clinical Support Duties

• Greet patients and families warmly as they arrive.
• Collect patient info, update records in our EMR (AthenaOne experience is a bonus!), and assist with medical histories.
• Take vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature and help patients get ready for their visit.
• Assist with basic clinical procedures and coordinate care based on physician instructions.
• Keep exam rooms stocked, sanitized, and ready to go!

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• English/Spanish required to support our patient population
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is a big plus
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical office pediatric experience is highly preferred
• Strong multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Comfortable with EMR systems (AthenaOne is a bonus!)

Compensation Offered:

Hourly - Hourly Plan, 20.50 USD Hourly

The salary/rate provided complies with local regulations and reflects the potential base compensation for this role. Actual salary/rate may vary above or below based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
